This heartfelt book is the culmination of a 29-year journey, born from Vikki's experiences as a devoted Police Wife.  In 1994, when her husband John made the life-altering decision to transition from running his successful automotive accessory business, which he had been passionate about since the age of 16, to becoming a Police Officer, Vikki's life took an unforeseen turn.  At the time, their family comprised two young children, daughter Misa, a  precocious 4-year-old, and  son John, an adventurous 3-year-old.  With little prior exposure to the world of law enforcement, they embarked on this new path together, their hearts brimming with determination and a hint of trepidation.

Throughout the years, Vikki and John have learned and grown immeasurably, overcoming countless challenges and cherishing the triumphs that have enriched their lives. Many of their closest friends, impressed by Vikki's resilience and unique perspective, have persistently urged her to share her remarkable journey through the written word.  Now, after much reflection, Vikki is ready to reveal her story, offering a beacon of support and encouragement to those who find themselves in a similar situation.
